While the August weather starts to melt the pavement, freshen up with beers straight from Colorado snowmelt! Telluride Brewing Company has a goal to make the perfect beer, and in that attempt they have impressed Colorado with their brews since 2012, and they keep getting bigger and better. Their production has roughly doubled every year since starting, and they plan to keep all this glorious beer in-state for just our enjoyment. I’m all for sharing, but sometimes you need to keep the good stuff close to home. And their stuff IS good! The Face Down Brown Ale has taken home Gold at World Beer Cup (2012), Great American Beer Festival (2012 & 2014), as well as taking Bronze at the Great American Beer Festival (2016). It’s a beautiful hybrid of an English and American style Brown Ales that explodes with toffee, chocolate, and nut flavors. But don’t let it overshadow the rest of their brews! We also carry their Tempter IPA, with its bold hops, the Bridal Veil Rye Pale Ale, with an earthy flavor and hint of spice, and their Fishwater Double IPA, a powerhouse of spicy and fruity hops and surprising caramel notes. The bold flavors can wake up anyone’s taste buds! All August drink beer that was brewed high for savings of a dollar or more per package.
