Breckenridge Brewery May 2015

Colorado’s third craft brewery came onto the scene in 1990. Breckenridge Brewery was the dream of a ski bum named Richard. Besides skiing, Richard wanted to serve fresh, quality beer and homemade food in a relaxed atmosphere that everyone could enjoy. It did not take long for locals and visitors alike to appreciate these values, and within a few short years, Breckenridge Brewery was the highlight of main street. In 1992 the Brewery expanded its operations to Denver to keep up with the constant rise in demand. Today they are distributed in 32 states across the USA. They started as a small 3,000 barrel a year brewpub operating out of Breckenridge, Colorado, and now craft over 62,000 barrels of fresh beer annually and operate five brew pubs and ale houses in the state of Colorado. Pettyjohn’s is proud to offer Breckenridge Brewery as May’s Spotlight Brewery and you can find these fine ales at a dollar off for the whole month. The  Avalanche Amber Ale is a refreshing but flavorful, anytime beer. Or you can try the ever-popular Vanilla Porter ale that has all the chocolate and roasted nut flavor of a classic porter. The Oatmeal Stout has a creamy body and a semi-dry finish. Nothing says summer like the Agave Wheat, a fantastic beverage to beat the heat. We will have these flavorful brews and many more at discounted prices for the month of May.
