Great Divide Brewing- May 2018

May is upon us and with the rivers flowing at full speed from the snow melt the beer is flowing out the door at a very swift pace as well- especially when saving a dollar or more of on six packs and twelve packs of Great Divide Beers. We carry the YETI Imperial Stout which starts with big, roasty malt flavors that gives way to rich caramel and toffee notes. It gets a bold hop character from an enormous quantity of American hops. Also in stock is Hercules Double IPA. Delivering a huge amount of hops from start to finish, it has a hefty backbone of nutty, malty sweetness that balances its aggressive hop profile. Titan IPA is a big, aggressively hopped India Pale Ale. It starts out with piney hop aromas and citrus hop flavors and finishes with a nice rich, malty sweetness that is balanced with crisp hop bitterness.

Colette Farmhouse Ale is in homage to the saisons that Belgian farm workers have enjoyed for centuries. Brewing the barley, wheat and rice with a blend of 4 different yeast strains gives this beer a fruity and slightly tart taste with a dry finish. Denver Pale ale brings big citrus pine notes, then smooths out with faint toasted malt character and dry, slightly bitter finish. Samurai Blonde ale has an addition of rice in the brewing process that gives a slightly fruity, crisp, refreshing element to this hazy unfiltered ale. On the opposite spectrum we have Claymore Scotch Ale. This malty, deep-ruby beauty features lots of caramel sweetness, a reserved hop profile, and a subtle warming character. And to really get spring going, Roadie Grapefruit Radler is the seasonal offering from the Great Divide team. Brewed with natural grapefruit purée, this easy-drinking ale pours hazy sunrise gold and is bursting with citrus aroma.
