Black’s Station Malbec 2017- REG $10.99 SALE $8.99
Our 2017 Yolo County Malbec has pronounced aromas of saddle leather and mocha and big explosive flavors of blueberry, cranberry and boysenberry jam. A good grip of tannins balances the rich, dense weight of the wine. This is a substantial Malbec that is mouth-filling and opulent.
Whiplash Malbec 2015- REG. $12.99 SALE $10.99
An exuberant wine of bold character and unbridled spirit, this medium bodied wine leads with soft tannins that grip the front palate, smooth, rounded finish and earthy aromas with lots of spice and pepper on the nose, with minerality, black cherry, fig, blueberry, plum-juicy fruity notes in the mouth. This is a great table wine and will pair well with spiced meats and BBQ.
La Madrid Single Vineyard 2017- REG $16.99 SALE $13.99
Deep ruby red color. Spicy aromas combined with fresh plums and cherries. In the mouth, sweet velvety tannins are well balanced with the acidity.
In spite of its youth this well-structured wine is already attractive and very harmonious. I love the effusive cherry and blueberry fruit. Drink now. 91 pts- James Suckling (kind of a big deal)
