Graham Beck Brut Rosé- Reg. $18.99 SALE $16.99

First up for the week we have the Graham Beck Brut Rosé, out of South Africa! This wine is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the traditional grapes used in Champagne and many other Sparkling-producing regions. Light pink in color with lots of bubbles, it’s a great looking wine from the moment it hits your glass. On the nose there are aromas of raspberries and cherries that are subtly balanced with minerality. The bubbles are smooth and soft, delivering red berry flavors and bright acids through to the finish. It’s a great wine to have for the Holidays – pick up an extra bottle to go with the leftovers. Don’t miss trying this while we have it open!

Chateau Guillebot Plaisance- Reg. $10.99 SALE $8.99
Second up for the night we have the Chateau Guillebot Plaisance, a Sauvignon Blanc from Bordeaux. As soon as you open the bottle the citrus and pear aromas, with some lemon rind fruit beneath, greet you and suggest a much nicer wine than this costs.  On the palate the wine is quite bold, with a more modern style of Sauv. Blanc with lots of tropical flavors and a refreshing finish.

We love this as an aperitif to accompany  cheese plates with nuts and crackers, light salads or other nibbles. Another wine you won’t want to miss, this is the perfect time to try it before you buy 6 bottles for the Holidays!

Saint Cosme Côtes du Rhône– Reg. $17.99 SALE $15.99

Third up for the night is a long time store favorite, once again returning for the Holidays, the Saint Cosme Côtes du Rhône. This Côtes du Rhône is made from 100% Syrah and is a deep plum color with violet reflections around the edge of the wine. Aromas of bright berry fruits and licorice give way to a medium bodied palate with elegant flavors of red currant and gingerbread that perfectly  compliment the Holiday season! This bottle happens to pair very well with Turkey dinner left-overs and there is no better time to try it than tonight!
Chateau Vieux Meyney- Reg. $14.99 SALE $11.99
Last up for the night we have the Chateau Vieux Meyney Bordeaux. This bottle is dark ruby red in color with ripe, spicy, dark cherry aromas that burst from the glass. Medium-full in body with moderate acidity and soft tannins, this Bordeaux offers rich flavors of plums, blackberries, cherries and spice. It is nicely balanced to be enjoyed now and over the next 4-5 years. The wine is long and smooth on the finish. We have this set up in our “Wines that pair well with Beef” display and for $11.99 we think this is a no-brainer to go with your next steak!
