Trimbach Riesling- Reg. $23.99 SALE $19.99
First up this week we have the Trimbach Dry Riesling! Riesling gets a bad rap sometimes for being too sweet but this one will totally change your opinion on the grape! The intense acidity and pronounced minerality come together in this fantastic wine, supporting flavors of white peach, almond, lemon confit and wet stone with a long, mouthwatering finish. It’s a very versatile wine, able to be paired with just about anything but we have it set up in our Ham display. It’s a perfect bottle to open up just about anytime as we gear up for the holidays!
Georges DeBouef Beaujolais Nouveau- Reg. $11.99 SALE $9.99
Second up for the night we have this years Beaujolais Nouveau! A long time tradition, this wine is meant to show what the harvest in Beaujolais was like this past year. Made from 100% Gamay, this wine is fruity and light, and meant to be served chilled or over ice. Sometimes called a “chugging wine” it’s a lot of fun in its delivery of flavors centered around strawberry and raspberries. Another great year of Beaujolai Nouveau, don’t miss your chance to partake in the tradition!
Carpineto Vino Nobile – Reg. $32.99 SALE $28.99
Third up for the evening is a wonderful red from the Carpineto Winery. Brilliant red, it pours beautifully into a glass. Tuscan Sangiovese aged in oak barrels, it is the picture of elegance. In the nose it has hints of violet and wood along side the fruit. On the palate it is velvety and fruity. It’s smooth texture leads into a long and lingering finish. The up-front fruit and nice acid in the finish creates another perfect wine for Thanksgiving. This wine has been on Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines of the Year lists multiple times! Don’t miss trying it while we have it open!
Vietti Moscato d’Asti- Reg. $14.49 SALE $13.99
Last up for the night we have a brilliant wine to pair with deserts, the Vietti Moscato d’Asti. Pale sunshine yellow color and slight frizzante (semisparkling), this Moscato d’Asti has intense aromas of peaches, rose petals and ginger. On the palate, it is delicately sweet and sparkling with balanced acidity, good complexity and a finish of fresh apricots.
