Sea Pearl Sauvignon Blanc- Reg. $12.99 SALE $8.99
First up we next for the night we have the Sea Pearl Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. A light, pale, straw green in color with brilliant clarity, this Sauvignon Blanc is zesty and aromatic with lots of lively, penetrating fruit characters. A concentration of tropical and gooseberry flavors fill the palate initially before giving way to clean acidity and a dry finish. This is a wine that is always crisp, elegant and refreshing. It’s been a store favorite for the whole Summer and it’s still going strong as the weather cools! Come check it out!
Angeline Reserve Chardonnay- Reg. $13.99 SALE $9.99

Up next we have the Angeline Chardonnay. With mouthwatering aromas of baked pears, buttered toast and creamy vanilla, kept in balance by fresh lemon and floral citrus-blossom, this wine is sure to please the crowds. The rich, textured mid-palate is led by a fruit forward beginning, and a bright finish, with tons of depth through-out. It’ll pair great with heavier fish, chicken, turkey and cream sauces. The last of the wines from our Featured Winery, don’t miss your chance to try this while we have it open!

Honoro Vera Garnacha- Reg. $11.49 SALE  $10.49

Third up for the evening we have the Honoro Vera Garnacha, one of our favorite grapes around Pettyjohns! This wine is a beautiful bright purple in the glass, showing immediately

the weight and depth of the wine. The nose is full of dark berry and spice aromas that are complimented by a floral nuance and a hint of mocha. Fruit-forward and and big in the mouth, this bottle has notes of fleshy black raspberry and cherry flavors enlivened by a touch of cracked pepper. The finish closes dry and spicey, with lingering flavors and fine tannin. With our Grenache tasting coming up, there is no better time to get excited about this grape varietal!

1000 Stories Bourbon-Aged Zinfandel- Reg. $22.99 SALE $18.99
Last up we have a bit of a different style of wine, namely that this zin has been aged in Bourbon barrels. The wine has a deep, rich purple color. An intense raspberry fruit is on the nose, with black pepper spice and a touch of cloves and dried herbs. The palate is full with ripe tannins, big black and red fruits, followed by an array of spices. The wine finishes with a touch of warmth that lingers on and on, very much like bourbon. While it may not be the most traditional wine, it is well loved around our store! This is another wine you won’t want to miss trying.
