Charlie New

Rabble Rosé- Reg. $14.99 SALE $12.99

Up first this week we have the¬†Rabble¬†Ros√©, a new favorite in our store! Made from 100% Syrah grapes from Paso Robles, California, this pale ros√© is an absolute delight.¬†This beautiful wine electrifies the senses with bright acidity and notes of of strawberry pie, kiwi, floral, and passionfruit flavors in the nose and mirrored on the palate. It finishes as a dry ros√© should and leaves the palate with deep smooth layers of fruit, minerality with a lasting impression of just how great ros√© season is. Don’t miss giving this bottle a try, it’s just too wonderful to miss out on.
Donati “Sisters Forever” Chardonnay- Reg. $15.99 SALE $12.49
Second up for the night we have a brand new addition to our Whites display, the Donati “Sisters Forever” Unoak-ed Chardonnay. Fermented in only stainless steel, this bright chardonnay¬†is a beauty. Bright notes of tropical fruits, such as pineapple fill the nose and are mirrored on the palate. The mouthfeel is full, even without the presence of oak, and finishes with crisp and strong acidity that rounds out the wine and helps it to pair wonderfully with food. Finding a wonderful un-oaked Chardonnay from California is rare, but this one is a very excellent find! Don’t miss the chance to give it a try!
OZV Zinfandel –¬†Reg. $11.99¬†SALE¬† $10.49¬†
Third up for the evening we have the¬†OZV¬†Zinfandel.¬†In the glass, this wine is light plum in color with garnet reflections.¬†¬†The Nose is strong and enjoyable with notes of blackberry jam, chocolate and herbal spiciness.¬†The wine’s taste carries the aroma forward with jammy flavors and rich mocha that has much more depth than expected from a wine in this price point. The mouthfeel is creamy with soft tannins. A long and lingering finish rounds out this awesome Zin, making it great to pair with food. Always a store favorite, it’s absolutely time to try this if you haven’t already!
Kalk Bay “The Lightsman” Red Blend- Reg. $14.99 SALE $11.49
Last up for the evening we have the South African winery, Kalk Bay’s “the Lightsman,” a blend of 58% Petit Verdot and 42% Malbec.¬† A deep purple, this wine looks great in the glass, and smells great too, showcasing notes of dark berry and plum. On the palate the fruit is bright and full before leading into spicier notes of herbs and white pepper. The palate is further enhanced by a soft but textured mouthfeel and a long finish balanced by clean acidity.¬†An excellent way to close out a tasting, don’t miss your chance to try this new and exciting wine!
