Local Brews We Choose for Yous

Tonight we taste four brews from a feel-good story. We remember getting Crystal Springs when they first started bottling and bringing in basement brews by the box-full. It looks like they are moving right along, and always in a tasty direction. Crystal Springs Brewing Company is the culmination of a dream that began almost 10 years ago. Robin, Certified Cicerone Beer Server, will pour four from 5-7pm.

Summertime Anytime Ale
“…A Kolsch-style ale, light, crisp and refreshing – perfect during the hot summer, yet great on a brisk fall afternoon or a sunny winter’s day – Summertime all the time! With a subtle fruit aroma, a hint of hops, a soft malt character and a slight dryness with a delicate pucker in the finish”

Cherry Saison

Slightly fruity and refreshing,
with a subtle tartness

STYLE: Saison

ABV: 5.2%

IBUs: 23

South Ridge Amber
“South Ridge is made from all American malts…with a touch of carapils. It is hopped with Chinook and Cascade in the boil, with a massive late hop addition (whirlpool) of Centennial, Cascade, Amarillo and Zythos. With its combination of malt and hop flavors and aromas and a slightly dry finish, it is an eminently drinkable beer.”
IPA – Indian Pale Ale
IPA is a signature beer available all year around.
ABV: 7.1%
IBUs: 78
