Ingredients and Directions

Roederer Estate Sparkling Brut- Reg. $24.99 SALE $21.99
To start off this weeks tasting we have a beautiful sparkling wine from Roederer Estate. Coming from Anderson Valley, California, this wine is crisp and elegant with complex pear, spice and hazelnut flavors. It has medium-intense bubbles along side its is freshness and light fruit notes, with great mouthfeel and depth of flavor leading into the finish. It’s a great wine to have around the house to serve when friends or family are over; just about anyone will enjoy it!
Left Coast Pinot Gris- Reg. $15.99 SALE $12.99
Up next we have the Left Coast Pinot Gris, another beautiful wine for the holiday season. This wine opens with strong smells of pear and apple with a light tinge of minerality. This wine sparks your palate with gentle apple, orange peel and brown sugar notes that yield to bright and lively accents of grapefruit and honeydew with a crisp minerality and balanced acidity and a wonderful finish. We have this one set up in our Appetizer display but there’s no reason to limit it, you can have this wine just about anytime and it’s sure to impress!

Domaine Sainte Rose La Garrigue- Reg. $16.99 SALE $14.99

Third up we have the La Garrigue from Domaine Sainte Rose. A blend on Grenache, Syrah and Mouvedre this versatile wine knocked our socks off when we tried it! Deep, dark, ruby red, this wine looks excellent as it’s poured in the glass. Scents of the garrigue, the unique landscape in the Languedoc region of France, such as aromatic thyme with jammy, red fruit and spicy, black pepper fill the nose of this bottle. It is warm, generous and complex on the palate while the finish is rich and ripe with superb structure and length.

Gundlach Bundschu Cabernet Sauvignon- Reg. $43.99 SALE $29.99
Last up for the night we have the Gundlach Bundschu Cabernet. We featured this one in our Cab tasting last month, and Ann wrote about it in the newletter! In case you missed it, here is what she said:
“This is definintely a stand-out, meeting your nose with black and blue fruits coupled with hints of chocolate, vanilla and baking spices. The creamy mouthfeel in the palate is laced with dark berries, plums, mocha, and espresso that finishes with perfectly framed tannins. While this is delicious now, you would be smart to stach some of this for your pleasure in about 10 years. “
