It’s no wonder why you and the Chesire cat are smiling. This Thursday we will taste two Colorado breweries that give big nods to many European classics. Wonderland brewery offers a Belgian blonde known as Alice and a German-inspired Pale Ale and Pug Ryan’s offers a Dunkel and a Pilsner for the Euro-loving imbibers. Try some great new stuff tonight, Thirsty Thursdays at Pettyjohn’s, every Thursday from 5-7pm.

Last week Robin poured some Great Divide Brewing. Customers enjoyed the free beer aspect of the tasting :D. Robin has been a beer nerd at Pettyjohn’s since chickens laid eggs. Special pourer tonight: Kieran. Come say hello!

OUR THURSDAY LINE-UP:

Alice Belgian Blonde
Alice Blonde: 5.2% ABV – 16.5 IBU
Belgian Blonde
Our spicy Belgian Blonde is a wit-esque, summer wheat that is spiced with coriander and orange peel. It has a subtle, Earthy character.
3-putt Pale Ale
Three Putt Pale Ale: 5.5% ABV – 25 IBU American Pale Ale 3 Putt is a German inspired American Pale Ale that’s hopped with Tettnang and Crystal hops. You will notice a nice dryness on the palate with a soft hop bitterness that is not overpowering, as well as a traditional spicyness.
Pug Ryan’s Peacemaker Pilsner
Using Nobel hops our brewer has created a well balanced beer with a nice golden color and a crisp dry finish. Light in color, this pilsner is brewed in the classic Bohemian style.
Pug Ryan’s Dead Eye Dunkel
BREWED FOR THE OUTLAW IN YOU. Munich Style Dunkel that pours the color of a well-oiled saddle. A malt backbone that stands tall and confident in the presence of a clean, crisp, subtle hop profile. Mildly sweet with a nutty and toasty maltiness that is dead on.
