OUR FRIDAY LINE-UP:

Herencia Altes Rosat- Reg. $11.99 SALE $9.79

First up this week we have the Rosat from the Herencia Altes Winery in Spain. The youngest vines of Garnatxa Negra at Hernia Altes are harvested early to preserve the natural acidity of the grapes to make a fresh and zesty Rosat. It sees a short maceration of the skins for a few hours before pressing and fermentation to create a pale, refreshing rosé. It is fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks before bottling. Sustainable farming practices and a great price tag make this wine another rosé to add to the list of bottles to crack open this summer!

Le Paradou Cinsault Rosé- Reg. $10.99 SALE $9.99
Up next we have the Paradou Cinsault Rosé. Beautiful pale pink in the glass with brighter reflections, this wine is a wonder from the moment you pour it. The nose is full of red berries and a hint of minerality on the back end. The mouth is very balanced and very elegant, with tart notes, citrus, raspberries and red currant, and a great freshness. We’ve said it before, even in this very email, but here is yet another rosé that you won’t want to miss. Thankfully the weather is getting warm enough that it’s easy to justify having a bottle of rosé… or two, we won’t tell!

Acentor Garnacha- Reg. $13.99 SALE $11.99

Third up for the evening we have the Acentor Garnacha. This Garnacha gets its complexity from old vines, which yield smaller, more concentrated fruit, and a colder climate, which develops tannins in the grapes. The nose is awesome; there’s a spicy, lightly peppery edge to this Garnacha’s bright, plummy aromas. In the mouth it’s juicy and energetic, with bright raspberry and blueberry fruit edged in notes of spice, violets and orange peel. A great red wine for the summer, it pairs well with a variety of foods while still having enough character to stand on its own.

Bradford Mountain Zinfandel- Reg. $17.99 SALE $14.99

Last up for the evening we have the Bradford Mountain Zinfandel from the Dry Creek Valley. Everything we love about Zinfandel comes to the forefront in this wine…Black raspberry and spice leap from the glass, and on the palate, the concentration and richness of that raspberry fruit is stunning. Add layers of blackberry, currant, and eastern spice and all of a sudden, you need to have a second glass of this wine. This is an exceptionally powerful wine, yet so well-balanced that the final impression is elegance, and the finish is so long that you could call it “timeless” elegance. That too, is a really good thing.
