Friday Night Snow-Sendoff

Goodbye, snow.

Could this be our last weekend with snow? Bundle up and gather together for a spring snow-sendoff. Feel free to bring Dear John letters, because we are officially breaking up with snow this weekend until October. We had many good runs together(skiing). A-Z Rosé- Reg. $17.99 SALE $14.99

Starting off this week we have the beautiful 2015 A to Z Rosé. This wine leads with aromas of strawberry, raspberry, watermelon, pomegranate and hibiscus along with citrus notes. In the mouth, the attack is juicy, bright and loaded with red fruit flavors. The mid-palate is mouthwatering with the richness of the 2015 vintage adding a creamy texture and some seriousness to the flavors, even some spicy flavors. The A to Z Rosé is fresh and compelling, finishing lively and long with lingering flavors of strawberries and cherries.
Borsao Blanco- Reg. $9.99 SALE $8.99
Up next we have the Borsao Blanco. Fermented in stainless steel and then aged for 3 months in Oak, this is a surprisingly layered wine for such an inexpensive bottle. It possesses a perfumed nose of fresh herbs, pineapples, white currants and hints of peach and honey. The palate is loaded with citrus, along with green apples and pears. The wine is smooth and straight forward with great acidity and an easy finish. The perfect wine to remind us that summer is just around the corner, even if the weather is trying to tell us otherwise!

OZV Zinfandel- Reg. $11.99 SALE $10.49 

Third up for the evening we have the OZV Zinfandel. In the glass, this wine is light plum in color with garnet reflections.  The Nose is strong and enjoyable with notes of blackberry jam, chocolate and herbal spiciness. The wine’s taste carries the aroma forward with jammy flavors and rich mocha. The mouthfeel is creamy with soft tannins. A long and lingering finish rounds out this awesome Zin, making it great to pair with food. Always a store favorite, it’s absolutely time to try this if you haven’t already!

Reata “Three County” Pinot Noir- Reg. $20.99 SALE $16.99

Last up we have the Reata “Three County” Pinot Noir. This wine is notable for a deep ruby color and subtle range of dark cherry, raspberry, blueberry, anise and toffee aromatics, tinged with a hint of vanilla. An intense entry is followed by ripe, dense berry flavors while mature, fine tannins add silky texture and depth. Toasty oak perfectly integrates into a lengthy finish. Another store favorite to finish the evening, this Pinot Noir is truly one of the best and at a great price for this quality of wine!
