Malbec Madness, Special Guest Appearance, and Cookbook Giveaway!

Week 4 of Malbec Madness

The weather has gone mad! The madness continues tonight… Join us for our weekly FREE in-store wine tasting tonight from 5-7. J.T., Pettyjohn’s alumni and son of the owners, will join us in a special guest appearance! We will be pouring the fourth set (and last set before the Final Four showdown) of Malbecs in our Malbec Madness competition, pitting two Malbecs against one another to find a clear customer favorite. Just print your brackets or fill them out on Fridays before you taste, choosing the wines that the most people will enjoy. The person who gets the most correct wins an $80 delightful Argentinian Malbec. Let the madness ensue!
P.S. We are closed Easter Sunday, so please come in today and Saturday for your Easter accompaniments. We apologize for any inconvenience.

It holds a nice tannic structure that is full on the palate. Vanilla, chocolate, and some spice appears to make it more complex. This is a fruit driven, fresh and well-structured wine that pairs great with meats like prosciutto or hard cheeses.Unique recipe ideas include Smoked Chicken and blueberry Salad with Almonds and Drunken Goat Cheese, Roast Pork Tenderloin with Medjool Date, Olive and Walnut Relish, or Slow-Roasted Salmon with Blood Oranges and Fennel.
