Gold Hill Inn Wine Dinner! Viewpoint Wines, Pettyjohn’s- Revamped and Rescheduled

We apologize again for Salt Bistro’s cancellation last month. We received so much interest that we sold it out within a day. Unfortunately they had a staffing change and their new chef didn’t have enough time to prepare for us. But don’t fear! We have retooled, revamped, and rescheduled with Viewpoint Wines and have collaborated with the famous (with their own documentary) Gold Hill Inn for a wine dinner to remember. Includes live music and a mingling social hour before dinner at 6, seating at 6:30.

“The ten mile drive from Boulder takes you back a hundred years and leads you through some of the most beautiful vistas in the Colorado Rockies. Nestled beneath the Continental Divide, The Gold Hill Inn is remote from the city lights and city noise of the Twenty-first Century. Things haven’t changed much since Frank and Barbara Finn opened the Gold Hill Inn in 1962. Sons Chris and Brian Finn are now managing  ”

After social hour and appetizers, Gold Hill Inn will be pairing four delectable courses with a selection of Boulder’s Viewpoint Wines. They will be serving the Viognier, 2012 Chardonnay, 2012 Pinot Noir, 2012 Zinfandel, and 2011 Merlot with dessert. Viewpoint Wines, with farming roots in Iowa, was conceived in 2010 in Boulder and now produces roughly 8,000 bottles per harvest. They encourage their customers to take a different viewpoint sometimes, because life is just a matter of perspective. Pettyjohn’s will be present at the dinner and the Viewpoint wines can be ordered after dinner, as well as picked up later from our store in South Boulder. This event is Wednesday, June 3 at 6pm. Tickets are $55 per person. Please call Gold Hill Inn at (303)443-6461 to make reservations. Seats are limited. We hope to see you there!
