Colorado has now signed legislation to approve powdered alcohol and gives the liquor enforcement agency the authority to regulate and tax it like the alcohol you’re use to drinking. Just add water to the mixture and you’ll make the equivalent of a shot of hard alcohol. Five states before us have banned the sale of Palcohol. People against the bill suggested the powder will sneak into schools and public venues and is easier to abuse. Proponents favor its portability on hikes and flights, and also as an antiseptic.
